We practice user-centered design to improve
diagnosis experience for radiologists.

Ideas and project goals were set in January through a workshop held with members of GE Healthcare's Dynamic Imaging team. Field studies were at the core of our project, where we learned from study participants what their specific needs were in their PACS products. From our field studies with radiologists and other PACS users, we derived results using a variety of interpretation methods. Insights from the Spring were brought before GE Healthcare, after which a workshop session was held to vision new design ideas for PACS systems. Observed insights were quickly applied in new paper prototypes to narrow down on an optimal design. Every new prototype created was placed directly in the hands of users, so we could quickly receive feedback for continual improvement.
